Consultation Types:
1. Initial Pregnancy Consultation (up to 60 minutes)
Book this appointment during your current pregnancy if you would like help with:
- pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain
- pelvic floor assessment during pregnancy
- guidance regarding safe exercise in pregnancy
- education and support in preparation for birth
2. Initial Postnatal Consultation (up to 60 minutes)
Book this appointment following birth—ideally from 6 weeks postpartum, or earlier if you have concerns.
- discuss your birth story and recovery so far
- address concerns about healing and wellbeing
- assess abdominal wall and/or caesarean scar
- assess pelvic floor
- assess and treat musculoskeletal aches or pains
- develop a safe return-to-exercise plan
3. Initial Pelvic Floor Consultation (up to 60 minutes)
This appointment is suitable for concerns relating to:
- pelvic floor muscle function
- sexual function and/or pelvic pain
- stress urinary incontinence
- urinary urgency and/or urge incontinence
- pelvic organ prolapse
- pessary advice and fitting
4. Women’s Health Standard Follow-Up Consultation (30 minutes)
Follow-up physiotherapy appointment to continue treatment, review progress, and modify
rehabilitation or exercise programs as needed.
- An initial consultation must be completed prior to booking follow-up appointments.
5. Women’s Health Extended Follow-Up Consultation (45 minutes)
Longer follow-up physiotherapy appointment for ongoing treatment, progress review, and
program updates when additional time is required.

6. Pessary Fitting Consultation (up to 60 minutes)
Not available for online booking. Please call to discuss.
7. Follow-Up Pessary Consultation (40 minutes)
This appointment is suitable for clients who already have a pessary fitted. During this
consultation, we will:
- review comfort, symptoms, and overall effectiveness of your pessary
- reassess pelvic floor function and vaginal health
- check pessary size, fit, and position
- make any necessary adjustments or refitting
- provide ongoing education regarding care, removal, and reinsertion (where appropriate)
This appointment can also be used to troubleshoot any issues such as discomfort, difficulty with
self-management, or changes in symptoms.
