Dr Avery Lim is a specialist anaesthetist who works at multiple hospitals throughout Sydney including Concord Hospital, Campbelltown Public and Private hospital, Mater Hospital and Camden Surgical Hospital.
She provides anaesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties with particular interests in anaesthesia for neurosurgery, ear, nose and throat, breast and endocrine, upper gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery.
After obtaining her medical degree, Dr Lim received her specialist qualification from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists through Concord Hospital. She went on to complete a fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and obtained a Masters of Medicine (Pain Management) through the University of Sydney.
Dr Lim participates in the Continuing Professional Development Program from the College of Anaesthetists and remains actively involved in teaching and mentoring anaesthesia trainees.
Occasionally, Dr Lim travels to Port Moresby General Hospital in Papua New Guinea with a neurosurgical team to provide their clinical expertise and teaching.
