Dr Theepan Kathirgamanathan graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales, before completing his junior medical and specialist anaesthesia training at Westmead Hospital. He was awarded Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2020.

Dr Kathirgamanathan is currently a senior anaesthetist practising at Blacktown and Westmead Hospitals, in addition to several private hospitals across Western Sydney. He provides anaesthetic care across a broad range of surgical specialties, with particular interests in obstetric anaesthesia, general and colorectal surgery, orthopaedic surgery, urology, and plastic surgery.
